Suzanna Denton is the Chief Operating Officer at RK Junior Development Group. A Nashville native with a rich family history steeped in the fabric of Music City, Suzanna has spent her life working professionally across multiple career roles here in the Athens of the South. A working mom with a passion for helping local businesses thrive, she joined RK Junior to assist the company in providing commercial and residential construction services that are client-oriented, detail-focused, and unmatched in quality.

A Background in Real Estate, Digital Marketing, and Business Ownership

With two associate’s degrees, a bachelor’s degree in computer information systems and network engineering, dual majors in Computer Sciences (Engineering) and Business Digital Marketing and Administration and a minor in Pre-Law as a Certified Tennessee Paralegal, Suzanna applies her diverse academic skills to the workplace daily. “I grew up around real estate development, and I was a paralegal for 28 years, working in real estate law,” Suzanna said when asked about the moments that led her to today. “My in-depth understanding of how real estate development works in the real world enables me to manage operations at RK Junior and ensure all of our builds go off without a hitch.”

Suzanna has owned and operated multiple businesses, including automobile dealerships, a Christian academy and childcare center, and a digital marketing business, all while managing a household and raising children. In previous positions at multiple companies (including her own), Suzanna’s served as CEO, CFO, and COO, always utilizing her knack for problem-solving, systems implementation, and organizational acumen to move businesses forward. Her management, digital marketing, finance, and paralegal backgrounds make her an asset to the RK Junior team.

A task-driven and systems-minded individual, Suzanna leverages her rich professional background in all areas of RK Junior’s daily operations to ensure the company’s building projects set the bar for luxury construction in Nashville. From interacting with clients to implementing customized strategies that produce one-of-a-kind homes and commercial buildings, Suzanna has been known to wear a dozen hats on any given day.

“Even the sky itself is not the limit here, in terms of opportunity,” Suzanna said, gesturing to Nashville’s high rises. “I want to continue providing value for RK Junior clients by giving them the best real estate development experience they’ve ever had. We do it by listening, prioritizing the client’s needs, and seeing each project through with perfectionism, every step of the way.
